Obituary of Pat Sandle

Patricia L. Sandle,72, of Westfield, NY passed away Wednesday morning, September2,2020 at her home.
She was born on November 4,1947 in Elizabeth, N.J., the daughter of the late Robert and Emma
(Petersen) Attelsey. On December 25, 1972 she married Stephen P. Sandle and he preceded her in death
in 2018.
Survivors include two daughters, Jessica Sandle of Washington, D.C. and Stephanie Sandle of
Cleveland,OH; three brothers, William Dodenhoff, Jeff and Scott Attlesey; two sisters, Robin Hunter and
Deborah Webster.
Patricia was a graduate of Rahway High School. She earned a Nursing Degree from Muhlenberg Nursing
School in Plainfield, N.J. She retired from the Chautauqua Lake Central School as a school nurse. She
and her husband were the former owners of Wool Works of Westfield. She also was an active member of
the First Baptist Church of Westfield.
A service will be held on Saturday,September 12, at 11 AM, outside on the west lawn of the Lakeshore
Assembly of God Church,252 East Main St. ( Route 20) Westfield. Due to the Covid restrictions, social
distancing will be honored. Please bring lawn chairs or a blanket and feel free to dress casually ( for the
weather, not for the occasion). In the event of inclement weather, the service will move to the First
Baptist Church of Westfield.
Memorial may be made to either the First Baptist Church of Westfield or the Westfield Memorial
Hospital Foundation.
