Obituary of Anna Marie June

WESTFIELD - Anna Marie June, age 57, of McKinley Road, Westfield, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Westfield Memorial Hospital. Anna Marie was born on June 5, 1958 in Westfield, the daughter of the late Michael J. and the late Virginia (Grzegoreck) June. A Westfield resident all her life, Anna Marie was a 1976 graduate of Westfield Academy and Central School. She had been employed by Erie 2 B.O.C.E.S for 26 years, at the LoGuidice Center in Fredonia first as a cook, and retired as a Kitchen Manager in 2004. An active communicant of St. Dominic Roman Catholic Parish, Anna was a life member of the Altar and Rosary Society and had held almost every office. She had traveled to Rome, Italy and the Vatican with her dear friend, the late Rev. Daniel Lapinski in the late 1990's. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and making her home a welcome place. Anna Marie was a dynamic person and had a great sense of humor. She was loyal, loving and nurturing. Anna Marie is survived by her nephew, Michael S. June, with whom she made a home and by her brother, Michael B. June of Ripley, NY. Friends may call on Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 4-7 PM at the MASON Funeral Home, 37 Clinton Street, Westfield, NY and are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am on Monday, December 14, 2015 at St. Dominic RC Church, 15 Union Street, Westfield, NY with The Rev.'s Joseph Walter and Mark Wolski officiating. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. A Parish Rosary Service will be held at 4 PM on on Sunday in the Funeral Home.
