I had the honor of getting to know John through Hospice. We talked about his gardening, making of wines, his teaching and so much more. He told me about the low country and language of Gullah, also about sculptures of a famous artist. On my last visits with John, we learned we both had a love of rocks too. May he be at peace now. He enriched my life in a wonderful way.
