We moved next door to Vince & Carol in 1988. We couldn't have asked for nicer neighbors. Vince was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer advice, or just chat over the backyard fence. They watched our kids grow up from 8 & 6 to the grownups they are today. Vince was like the mayor of our development. He knew everyone. He knew when someone moved out and when someone moved in and knew their names from day one! Our prayers are with Vince's family, and we know that now he is in heaven with his Carol.
Vinny and Carol were very dear to me. I first met them Easter Sunday 19773. They came to Florida for a Sprint Holiday when Brian was in High School. I have a picture of us all on our front lawn. My daughter Georgette was 3 months old. Vinny & Carol became like parents to me. Carol was my Florida mother when they moved down. Vinny was always coming to see us and was a great conversationist. He would talk about anything with me. My heart aches for their company now but I'm thrilled they are both with Jesus which is far better. To Brian, Leigh & Sherryl, I know your lost and how much they loved you all. I'm praying for you during this time and the days ahead. Sherryl, they loved you dearly.
