Vincent- you will be missed by the Harris and Cumming family. You sure had an interesting life. I will keep a picture of you in your headdress. You alway said you might not have a lot of money, but you have a lot of stuff. Hope all your "stuff" found a good home.

II only got to know Vince over the phone. I was home in Westfield a few years ago when the Republican ran an article about the bank notes from Westfield that I collect. Somehow the two of us ended up talking on the phone several times about everything under the sun from him telling me that it was his fater-in-laws signature on one some of the notes to his time in Alaska. Imagine my surprise when the next week one of the bank notes arrived at my home here in California. When I called Vince to thank him and to see if I could offer him something in return as I know of the value of these notes, he told me absolutely not, that he wanted it to be with someone who appreciated it. Ive never forgot that act of kindness. It might seem small to some, but this man never even met me, and yet he reached out and gave me something that he had been hanging on to for something like 70 years. You just dont hear about things like this happening very often and I will remember that for the rest of my life. To Vinces family I send my heartfelt condolences on the loss of a truely kind and generous man. Gods speed to you Vince....Ill always remember where that one particular note came from and Ill always keep it with me. Jason BeersLos Angeles
